Sukup Centrifugal Dryers are available as full-heat only models or as pressure-heat/vacuum-cool models. The full-heat models operate the same as Single Axial Fan dryers except that centrifugal fans run more quietly. Pressure heat/vacuum-cool dryers can dry in heat/cool mode and operate nearly as efficiently as a full-heat dryer. Pressure heat/vacuum-cool dryers have a 2/3-1/3 split plenum allowing the centrifugal fan to create a vacuum in the lower plenum of the dryer and pull outside air in through the grain column. This cools the grain and heats the air, which is then fed into the intake of the fan. The warmer air coming into the fan and heater then reduces the amount of gas needed to dry within the upper plenum. This dryer can also be converted to full-heat when needed.

Airways®
For every 10 points of moisture removed from one bushel of corn, one gallon of water is produced. Some of this water condenses on the bin wall, causing spoiled grain. Sukup Airway® Tubes work to remove the water from the wall. Airways® are perforated, triangular-shaped tubes that pipe dry air along the inside of the bin wall in order to remove moisture condensation. This process, similar to defrosting a windshield, keeps bin walls clean and dry, preventing grain from spoiling along bin walls.

Cyclone Pneumatic System
A pneumatic (air) system is the ideal grain conveying system for new or existing drying operations. This type of system is especially well-suited to moving grain from a continuous flow dryer into cooling and/or storage bins.
An air system also gives you flexibility that you can’t get with traditional augers and legs. You can easily direct grain to multiple bins from one location, even around corners and into areas that would be difficult to reach with a transfer auger. An air system also makes expanding your system simple – to include more bins, just add more tubing.

Chain Loop Conveyor
With a Sukup Chain Loop Conveyor, you can fill, unload, blend and transfer grain in one complete operation. Loop Systems generally require less power and are gentler on grain. The flexibility of Loop Systems make them great for adding to existing site or incorporating into a new site. A vertical loop works in a system where bin centers are aligned and the center sumps dump into the chain loop tube installed under the bin floor. A slanted loop is used in a system where the fronts of the bins are aligned and the external powerheads discharge into the chain loop tube.
Double-Run Conveyor
A Double-Run Conveyor can replace a roof auger, transfer auger, dryer take-away auger and even a permanently-installed transport auger. After the January 2010 earthquake devastated Haiti, we saw an opportunity to help. We designed the Safe T Home®, measuring 18-feet in diameter and made entirely of metal, making it resistant to termites and moisture. They are also virtually earthquake proof. Each home can sleep 10 or more and features a double-roofed system that displaces heat, a full-size, lockable steel door, two windows that can be locked from within and a water collection system. The Safe T Home® is built to withstand strong winds. In 2016, Hurricane Matthew devastated Haiti with winds in excess of 145 mph and all 200 of the homes prevailed with just minor damage. In contrast, the vast majority of traditional homes in the area were destroyed. The Safe T Homes® were able to hold up to 60 people in each home to ride out the storm. The Safe T Home® has a life expectancy of 75 years and can be assembled on-site with simple hand tools. Safe T Homes® are also located in Africa and Peru.
